An update (minor) closes security gaps and fixes bugs within a version (e.g. from 12.4.1 to 12.4.2). An upgrade (major) is the jump to the next main version (e.g. from 11 LTS to 12 LTS), which brings new features and secures long-term support. We manage both for you.
Why shouldn't I do the maintenance myself?
TYPO3 is a highly professional tool. Especially since the switch to Composer-based installations, updates require a deep technical understanding of the dependencies. One wrong command can take the entire site offline. We use professional staging environments to test updates first before they go live.
Do you also look after custom-programmed extensions?
